A military relationship... Now that's a tough and touchy subject.
Everyday it is something new..... however the love never changes.
Being in a military relationship, you have to gain ALOT of PATIENCE.
"HURRY UP AND WAIT"
That is a quote I learned to deal with.
When your significant other gets orders... they ARE not set in stone. They can change, not just once, but many MANY times.
When they are first given orders.. Don't believe that. It can easily change in 2 hours. Just be patient with them, even if you have no patience at all.
Being in a military relationship, you gain a sense of patriotism.
They are dedicated their lives to keep you and your family protected. It means sacrifice!
Loving someone in the military you learn a whole new language.
You learn a new alphabet and new acronyms.
Loving from a distance..
Being in a military relationship can mean your significant other may deploy.
DEPLOYMENTS SUCK!!!
You have to willing to be patient and faithful. Your significant other needs to know that you are there for them and supporting them.
Deployments often times can hurt a relationship caused by arguments from unwanted stress.
Deployments; however, can make a relationship much stronger.
Not spending time together for a year or more helps bring a couple closer, makes them happier, and grateful for each other.
Deployments make loving from a distance hard at times, BUT it is all worth it in the end.
